Information For Understanding The Source Of An Element's Spectral Lines
The Nature of The Visual Spectral Lines Produced by an Element
The Diagram below illustrates for nature's simplest atom "Hydrogen" How the one Electron of the Hydrogen Atom can produce various different spectral lines, dependent on the intensity and source of the atom's excitation.
Such a diagram for the Helium Atom would be more complex, because the Helium Atom has two Electrons, which when excited can produce many visual spectral lines as are identified by the Helium Lamp's Spectrum, which is shown with every Hydrogen Fusion experiment.
